As one enters the lane to Jake’s Barn, it looks as though it’s a typical gravel drive traversing your average rolling East Tennessee farm. What lies beyond the turn as you pass the old corral is anything but typical…
Resting high upon the ridge above the gulch where Byrd’s Creek flows is Jake’s Barn. This 5,100 square feet monitor style barn sits in the center of this 150,000 square feet event complex. Jake’s Barn is a combination of East Tennessee Appalachia and the Hill Country charm of Texas.
Hand built over a three-year period, Jake’s Barn offers amazing views of the Crab Orchard Mountains and the hardwood forests of the Cumberland Plateau.
Tucked into the southwest corner of our 240-acre family farm, Jake’s Barn is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset with family and friends alike.
Sitting along side of Jake’s Barn is our 80-seat wedding chapel. Constructed of cedar, poplar, pine, and hemlock; Rainbow Valley Chapel is like walking back in
time. From curved wooden church pews which are nearly 100 years old, to the cedar shake covered roof, Rainbow Valley Chapel encompasses the warmth and
love of the old community church of yesteryear.
There are cozy dressing rooms for our wedding party which also serve as lounges for our artists during live music events held at the farm. The grooms cabin
sits high on the ridge rim above Byrd’s Creek with picturesque views. Our bridal suite utilizes a round grain silo nestled away in the memorial garden. Two
additional silos house the restrooms and the venue kitchen is located in the backroom of the chapel.
Dozens of special weddings sites dot the vast venue grounds of Jake’s Barn to ensure each event is uniquely yours. From the timber frame and stone arbor in
the garden to the patio overlook, Jake’s Barn offers something for everyone.
